One of my favorite parts of watching a Packer or Badger football game is the variety of foods that people bring to the parties. Since both teams are on the road, most people will probably be doing things indoors. A great way to start the day off is with a nice cheese and sausage plate. The best way to spice the basic appetizer up is to find some sort of specialty cheese, and/or sausage for people to try. Most grocery stores will carry your typical cheddar and pepper jack cheese, but look for something a little more exotic.
Everyone loves pizza as a main dish, but frozen pizzas can get boring. A good way to add a bit of excitement into the standard pizza is to make your own. Some stores will carry a premade crust, which you just have to allow to rise. Once raised, you can add some additional flavor by rolling it out on a bed of corn meal. If you want a cheesy crust, roll the edge of the crust around some string cheese. Mixing some garlic powder and parsley with some melted butter also makes a delicious crust topper. If you are looking for a healthier option top a whole wheat crust with some white garlic sauce, chicken, and spinach.
