A piece of farm machinery is described as a total loss following a fire in the Town of Two Creeks late yesterday afternoon. Fire Chief Mark Johanek tells Seehafer News the call came in about 4:00 o’clock from Irish Road and State Highway 42. Johanek said a harvester combine was fully engulfed in flame when his personnel arrived at the scene. The chief said because the combine was situated about a quarter-mile off the highway and was in a soft field, he requested assistance from Town of Two Rivers, Mishicot & Tisch Mills departments. The harvester combine, owned by Malcom Peroutka, was valued at $75,000. There were no injuries.
