A routine traffic stop in Manitowoc early yesterday morning resulted in a drug arrest. An officer saw a vehicle driving north on I-43 near Calumet Avenue with a burned out license plate lamp, and pulled the SUV over. When the officer began to speak with the individuals, he noticed a smell of marijuana, and the occupants admitted to smoking earlier in the evening. A search of the 34 year old driver uncovered a baggie of pot weighing roughly 2 grams. The vehicle was then searched, and more marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found inside. The man was arrested and charged with Possession of THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
