Fifty-seven-year-old Larry Harris drove his wife to the La Crosse police station last week to have her removed from his car. They had been arguing and he wanted her out. Police decided no criminal charges should be filed for the argument, but they wound up taking Harris into custody for being drunk. He is charged with O-W-I, first offense. When officers were given permission to search the vehicle, they found open bottles of alcohol.
