One man is dead after an officer involved shooting at the Brown County Jail Friday night. The man was transported to the jail only a few hours prior to the shooting after it was discovered that he, and the female passenger in his vehicle had warrants out for their arrest. The details of what led up to the fatal shot have not been released, but it has been confirmed by Police Chief Andrew Smith that the shot was indeed taken by a police officer, and that the incident occurred at around 9:10 PM.
