Wisconsin Country Singer Chris Kroeze advanced again Tuesday night on NBC’s Emmy Award-Winning singing competition, THE VOICE.
Under the guidance of his coach, Blake Shelton, and guest coach, Keith Urban, Kroeze sang Steve Winwood’s “Back In The High Life Again” against fellow contestant Mercedes Ferreira-Dias.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to work with musicians at that level. They just know what to do musically to make a song come alive. I’m soaking in every minute and learning all I can!” said Kroeze of his Tuesday night performance.
Both Keith Urban and Blake Shelton spoke highly of Chris’ performance. “So much gravel and soul. I loved it!” said Urban. After Shelton chose the Wisconsin singer to advance he told Kroeze “You’re voice is the reason this show exists!”
