Healthy Sheboygan County 2020, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will hold a Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 27th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at five locations throughout Sheboygan County. The Drug Take Back Day provides a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the community about the potential abuse and consequences of improper storage and disposal of these medications. According to Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, “More than two thirds of people who have abused prescription painkillers got them illegally from a friend or family member.” All locations taking part are listed below.
