Quarterback Aaron Rodgers rallied his team from behind to score twice in the closing minutes of a 33-30 win on Monday Night Football. The Packers trailed 30-23 with less than four minutes to go. After a quick drive where the Pack tied the game with a catch by Davonte Adams, Rookie Defensive Back Kevin King came to the rescue.
Rodgers and the offence them moved the ball down the field, with help late in the drive by Equanimeous St. Brown.
Then…Mason Crosby.
Rodgers threw for 425 yards and two touchdowns. With most of the Packers’ starting wide receivers sidelined with injuries, Davante Adams caught 10 passes for 132 yards and both passing T-Ds. Adams spoke about the better start the offence had this week.
Crosby was perfect on four field goal attempts after missing four kicks the week before.
Green Bay gets to enjoy the victory during a bye week, then plays at Los Angeles against the Rams October 28th.
