Brillion High School hosted a 12 school Cross-Country Invitational last night. Hortonville won the boys division with Valders, the 2nd ranked team in D-2, finishing runner-up. Nate Griepentrog paced Coach Bill Dietrich’s squad by coming in 8th overall in 16:58. Manitowoc Lincoln, which is running at Wisconsin Rapids this Saturday, ran their second boys team & placed 12th. Jacob Rivest led the Ships in 60th place. The Mishicot boys were 5th led by Daniel Benfield’s 24th place finish. In the Girls portion of the Invite: Valders was 4th paced by Alayna Litz, who was 9th overall in a time of 21:40 on the 5-K course. Lincoln wound up 5th, paced by Brianna Reinhart who was 5th in the race. Mishicot had an incomplete team & Mikayla Gove finished 4th overall.
