Election managers in Madison are giving just over 20-thousand voters a shot to vote again this fall. The state Elections Commission Tuesday said they were restoring the voter registration for 21-thousand people in Milwaukee. Many of the voters were among the 340 thousand who were scrubbed from the rolls last year because they didn’t vote or reply to election notices. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says those voters should have never been taken off the list.
