Students entering La Follette High School in Madison have to pass through a security checkpoint and won’t be allowed to leave the campus. The ramped up security comes after the wounding of two students over an eight-day period. The 16-year-old injured Wednesday was treated and released from a Madison hospital. School officials haven’t said if the enhanced security measure will continue next week.
