When he is sentenced, a 45-year-old man could get life in prison for shooting a Rusk County deputy to death. Jurors found Doug Nitek guilty of first-degree intentional homicide. Nitek shot Rusk County Deputy Dan Glaze in the head two years ago when Glaze stopped to find out why Nitek’s car was parked in the middle of a field in the Town of Willard. Sentencing hasn’t been scheduled.
