Practices aren’t as effective when a team’s best player isn’t on the field. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed Wednesday’s workout, the fifth time that has happened since he strained his knee. Normally, Rodgers takes most of the snaps as he works on timing. At least five starters didn’t take part in the mid-week practice, including Jimmy Graham, Kevin King, Justin McCray, Nick Perry and Muhammad Wilkerson, who is out for the season.
