Milwaukee Woman Charged In 2-Year-Old’s Death

A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and child neglect for causing her daughter’s death.  Prosecutors say Lisa Simmons burned the two-year-old child in hot bath water.  She had called 9-1-1 Sunday saying the girl wasn’t breathing.  Emergency responders report the child was dead when they arrived.  Simmons told investigators two stories, then admitted burning her daughter last Thursday.
