EnergyBank in Manitowoc has been named as a stop on the Midwest Renewable Energy Association’s Wisconsin Solar Tour. As a part of the event, they will be showing off their latest advancement, the FUSION direct solar-powered LED lighting system on Saturday October 6th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. FUSION essentially takes out all the middle steps of converting solar energy into usable energy to power LED lights. It has been also named a finalist in the Emerging Technology of the Year category by Platts Glabal Energy Awards, and is manufactured entirely in Manitowoc. The tour stop is free and open to the public.
