The Milwaukee Brewers moved to within a half-game of first place in the National League Central Division by pounding St. Louis 12-4 Tuesday night. Milwaukee scored the first six runs, and then held off several comeback efforts by the Cardinals with eleven of Milwaukee’s 12 runs being scored with two out. . Ryan Braun hit a pair of home runs to help Milwaukee win for the fifth time in six games. Christian Yelich hit his 33rd homer and a three run scoring triple, while Jesus Aguilar blasted his 34th homer. Manager Craig Counsell called Yelich’s second half of the season nothing short of amazing.
