Holding a seven-million-dollar federal grant to improve election security, the Wisconsin Elections Commission wants to hear from the public. A Wednesday meeting at the state Capitol will focus on how the money should be spent. Local election officials and the public have been invited to offer testimony. About one-third of the money will be used to bring on six additional staff members over the next four years. One-million dollars will be spent on security needs before the November 6th vote.
