DATCP Offering Processor Grants for Wisconsin Dairy Farmers

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection are offering Dairy Processor Grants to Wisconsin Dairy producers. The aim of these grants is to “foster innovation, improve profitability and sustain the long-term viability of Wisconsin’s dairy processing facilities.” The Dairy Processor Grant is customizable for each processor and can be used to hire consultants to address a wide range of business needs including food safety, staff training or modernization. Producers that wish to apply for a Dairy Processor Grant are encouraged to do so before the November 2^nd deadline.
