More rain is expected to fall this week, and experts are saying flooding is possible again. One tip to help keep your home safe is to ensure the egress windows and wells have a functional drain. If the drain isn’t working properly, the water could overflow into your basement. Homeowners are also advised to ensure their sump pump is in proper working order as well. Another wise idea would be to check your rain gutters, to ensure they are cleaned out.
