The latest damage estimate from the series of storms and flooding which hit the state has been put at 234-million dollars. That’s up 25-million from just two weeks ago. The latest estimate includes 109-million in residential damages, 76-million to infrastructure and 49-million to businesses. Inspectors from FEMAare in the state this week conducting a preliminary damage assessment in 17 counties. That work must be completed before Wisconsin can formally ask for a federal disaster declaration.
