Governor Scott Walker, and Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach, were both on hand to help break ground on the transformative Brown County STEM Innovation Center on the UW-Green Bay campus. The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math center will, according to Streckenbach, “create long-term, family-supporting jobs.” UW Green Bay will utilize the structure as a home for their School of Engineering, as well as the location of the Einstein Project and UW Extension and Brown County’s LAND AND Water Conservation departments. The center will be an approximately 63,730 square feet, and was paid for with the help of Gover5onr Walker’s 2017-2019 capital budget, Brown County, and Donations through UWGB.
