Authorities in northwest Wisconsin helped rescue a bear cub Sunday that got its head stuck in a large plastic globe. The Polk County Sheriff’s Department says an officer with expertise handling wild animals and several citizens were able free the bear. A sheriff’s deputy cut the globe from the cub’s head while other officers kept a very stressed out mama bear a safe distance away. A Facebook post from the sheriff’s office said,” Ultimately, the cub was free to go get in more mischief somewhere else!”
