Eight people are hospitalized after crashes involving motorcycles during the Tomahawk Fall Ride for M-D-A in northern Wisconsin. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says two motorcyclists and their passengers suffered critical injuries when an 81-year-old woman swerved to avoid a pickup and struck the two cycles with her car in the town of Bradley. Four more people were hurt when two cycles collided and a third bike trying to avoid the crash struck a pickup truck stopped at the scene north of Bradley. Three of the four were taken to a hospital in critical condition and one suffered serious injuries. Officers say all the motorcycle occupants were not wearing helmets.
