A driver is facing O-W-I and other charges for hitting a Madison police squad car near the University of Wisconsin campus. Police say the officer was walking back from another traffic stop Friday night when the suspect rear-ended the patrol vehicle. The impact caused the squad car to hit the other vehicle that was pulled over. Luckily, no one was injured in the crash. The driver who struck the squad car was arrested on suspicion of operating while impaired and failure to yield.
