A settlement between the Dane County District Attorney’s office and a former assistant D-A has led to the dismissal of a federal lawsuit. Bob Jambois had claimed District Attorney Ismael Ozanne harassed him and retaliated against him during a 2016 primary election. Jambois told the court he was forced to retire from office when Ozanne assigned him a caseload of 31 trials in a two-month period. Jambois was running against Ozanna in the primary. Jambois gets a 350-thousand dollar award, but neither side accepts responsibility or admits wrongdoing.
