Vision 2022—a movement to drive Manitowoc County towards unified planning—action and achievement resulting in community growth—health and prosperity held a community summit yesterday at the Wisconsin Farm Discovery Center in Newton. Dean Halverson is CEO of Leede Research of Manitowoc which is coordinating this effort.
Vision 2022 began in July 2017 with a passion and enthusiasm to assure that future needs of the County are met. Progress Lakeshore’s mission is to retain—grow and attract businesses—workforce and entrepreneurship in Manitowoc County through community and regional collaboration. Executive Director Peter Wills.

Since it’s inception last summer Vision 2022 has attracted interest from over 1000 people and organizations who have a common drive to make Manitowoc County better. Halverson adds “There are tremendously good things happening here right now. I think it’s the strongest it’s been in the last 20 years.
