Stolen Wedding Ring Recovered

A Howard family is very happy today after the wedding/engagement ring that was stolen from a woman in a nursing home was located. The theft was reported to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office on September 3^rd when family members noticed it was missing. The family said that due to her severe disabilities, the woman could not comprehend that the ring was stolen from her. They also said that the act of removing it from her finger would have likely caused the woman pain, as it had been years since it was last removed. The exact circumstances surrounding the theft have not been released as of yet.
