Milwaukee Woman Enters Guilty Plea In Child’s Death

A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman will be sentenced next month for causing the death of a seven-week-old baby girl.  Claudette Mitchell entered a guilty plea Tuesday to child neglect resulting in death.  Mitchell was responsible for Savaiyah Reid and eight other children at a home-based daycare last year when the infant was found unresponsive.  An autopsy found the girl had multiple contusions and abrasions and skull fractures too numerous to count.
