Car Theft Suspect Denies Stealing Cars But Did Ride Around In Them

A Milwaukee teenager says he didn’t steal the four cars found near his home, but he admits he rode around in them to impress girls.  Terrance Tarleton was arrested August 27th.  He told investigators he was part of a group called the “Hampton Boys.”  The 19-year-old said they competed with another group over who is best at driving stolen cars and attracting the most girls.  One of the stolen vehicles was sitting right outside Tarleton’s home.
