Two young men have received the Edward J. Shimanek Scholarship from the Manitowoc County Deputy Sheriffs and Constables Association. Tanner Jost and Logan Kummer were awarded $750 each to help them pusue a career in Criminal Justice. Jost recently graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School, and is attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, while Kummer, a Lincoln High graduate will further his education at Fox Valley Technical College.
