Wisconsin taxpayers with dependent children filed claims for more than 94-million dollars under a child tax rebate passed by the Legislature. Families could claim the 100-dollar rebate during the application window which expired in July. About 558-thousand families took advantage. Democrats called the proposal from Republican Governor Scott Walker an election year bribe. About 28-million dollars wasn’t claimed.
