Legal troubles have worsened for a 37-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man in an armed robbery case. Charles Miller is one of three people accused of sticking up a Stevens Point tavern in July. He had an initial court appearance scheduled for Tuesday in Portage County Circuit Court, but he didn’t show up. Prosecutors say Miller escaped from jail and hasn’t been caught. An arrest warrant was issued in his name. Prosecutors say Miller and 25-year-old Taydisa Strassburg got away with 10-thousand dollars. A worker at the 13th Floor Bar, 39-year-old Vicki Ladecki, is accused of being in on the robbery.
