A former band teacher in the Mishicot Public School system has passed away. Glen Nelson died last night. Seehafer News reached out to John Risch, who worked as either a principal Or superintendent at Mishicot for 21-years, retiring in 1990. Risch recalls Nelson did a great job in his teaching position.
Risch also stated that Nelson helped a lot of new band instructors get started.
After retiring from teaching, Glen Nelson served as director of the Two Rivers Municipal Band for a number of years.
