The Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA is preparing for their Sweat for a Cure and Food Truck event, which will take place on October 13th. Proceeds from the event will go toward finding a cure for breast cancer. The idea snowballed from the basic idea to run a fundraiser for that exact cause. Danielle Waak who is a fitness instructor explains what people can expect at Sweat for a Cure.
…along with a 50/50 raffle inside the building. If you are more of a foodie, there will also be something for you.
While access to the food trucks is free, there will be a registration fee to be inside sweating for a cure. The food trucks have agreed to stay in the parking lot for as long as people keep buying food. Stop on out to the Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA on the morning of October 13th to help fight breast cancer.
