The City of Manitowoc has solidified a plan to fix the sinkhole in the parking lot of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. According to Greg Minikel of the Department of Engineering, crews will be filling and repaving the sinkhole next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. The sinkhole appeared late Tuesday evening, and measures around 8 feet long, 5 feet wide and an astonishing 10 feet deep. The parking lot will be closed to all traffic during while the repairs are being made.
