More information on Fatal I-43 Accident Released

We have received some more information on the fatal accident that took place on I-43 Tuesday morning. The Green Bay Police Department is saying that 29 year old John Phillips of Green Bay was killed after he was struck by a truck while he was walking in the southbound lanes of the highway just north of East Mason Street. The stretch of highway between University Avenue and East Mason Street was shut down to traffic for a significant amount of time as well. No word yet on if the driver of the  of the truck will be facing any charges.
