The Eastern side of Wisconsin is still recovering from the massive storm system that ravaged the area on Monday and Tuesday. One city that was hit hard was Kiel, as they had a tornado touch down just north of the city. We spoke with City Administrator Jamie Aulik, who gave us an update on the recovery efforts.
Audio PlayerThe reason for the delay in restoring the power is due to some power pole being snapped in half, and the vast area that was affected with the outage. The exact number of homes that were without power has not been determined, again due to the large area affected.

Audio PlayerAulik said he is very happy with the effort put in by the crews helping the recovery process.
Audio PlayerThe City Administrator said all things considered, the city and it’s residents are doing well, and are pushing forward.
