The final numbers are in for the 2018 Manitowoc County Fair. Expo Facility Manager Jennell Shelton said the total general admission attendance was just under 40,000 for the event which ran Tuesday night through Sunday. As for the highlights Shelton tells Seehafer News News the Fireworks Wednesday night “were amazing.”
Shelton says the ‘Battle of the Fire Department’ competition Saturday was ‘really well-received.’
She added some ‘grandstand’ activities stood-out too.
Shelton said the biggest single day for attendance was Saturday when about 13,150 came through the gates.
And, mark your calendars for the 2019 Manitowoc County Fair which starts on Wednesday, August 21st and goes through Sunday the 25th. Jennell Shelton says planning for next year’s fair begins in earnest next month.
