Walk for ALS Results

This past weekend, Tina Kocourek put on what was advertised as her final Walk for ALS event. Tina told us that this year’s walk was a great success. While the total numbers have not been calculated yet, Kocourek is estimating that 185 silent auction items were bought, bringing in around $30,000. While this was billed as her final event, Tina received a phone call from the ALS Foundation which changed her mind. The Association told her they didn’t want her to quit putting on the event, so they said that they would like to sponsor the yearly walk to raise money for the ALS Association. More details on the final numbers from the walk and on the sponsorship will be coming down the pipeline in the coming weeks.
