Sheboygan’s Innovation District Launches Website

The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) and City of Sheboygan have launched a website for Wisconsin’s first Innovation District. FreshTechInnovation.com is a website devoted to sharing with the world the concept plans, progress and vision of the district, known as Fresh Tech. Visitors to the site will see concept plans for the District, plans for the first Innovation hub, currently named the “LaunchPad.” The entities will soon be hosting an Innovation Summit with area businesses and educators to plan the programming in that facility.  An Innovation District is an area where universities, and companies connect with start-ups and each other to drive new technologies and innovation.
