A man from Bloomer has lost hunting and fishing privileges for the next nine years after he admitted wounding and killing more than 60 deer. Austin Glaser was charged with the crimes in Chippewa County, along with nine juveniles. Glaser has to spend one day in jail and forfeit two rifles. He and the younger suspects had been accused of illegally shining and shooting the deer. D-N-R investigators say at least 15 were killed and some of the animals were run down by vehicles.
