Lok Safe Storage in Bellevue is the most recent building to be stricken with a fire. Fire Crews were informed of the blaze at around 6:20 AM, when a report of smoke billowing from the building was called in. Firefighters were on hand for about an hour, with no one walking away injured. After battling the flames, crews determined that some oily rags behind a water heater in a bathroom caused the fire to start. The Bellevue Fire Department used this opportunity to remind citizens to properly dispose of any such rags, and to ensure they remain covered in metal cans to ensure safety.
