Janesville police have arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of first-degree reckless homicide. Sarina Stone is accused of stabbing her 26-year-old former boyfriend to death Tuesday night. Stone brought Robert Thomas Junior to Mercy Hospital shortly after midnight Wednesday morning. He was suffering from a single stab wound to his chest. Stone told investigators she stabbed Thomas after he had hit her during an argument in their parked car. Janesville Police Chief David Moore says this is Janesville’s first homicide case of 2018.
