New Holstein Man Convicted in Connection to May Overdose

A New Holstein man will be spending the next nine months in jail, after being found responsible for an overdose that took place in Sheboygan back in May. Police responded to a home on North 10^th Street after they were informed of an unresponsive woman at the residence. He female subject was transported to a local hospital by first responders, where they were informed that Cody Lawrence helped arrange a drug deal for her in Milwaukee. The woman, who was already on probation, was charged with possessing narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. Lawrence meanwhile will be spending nine months in jail, and five years on probation.
