Life Sentence Given To Man Who Killed 17-Year-Old

A co-defendant told police a man going to prison for the rest of his life had planned to steal a 17-year-old girl’s car.  Twenty-year-old Daniel Tate was sentenced Monday for strangling the victim last year.  Jamari Cook says Tate arranged to go on a date with Olivia Mackay in July 2017, but he planned all along to take her car and sell it online for 500-dollars.  Tate was convicted last June.  He and Cook dumped the teenager’s body in Racine County.
