Manitowoc police said late last night that they’ve located the dog and its’ owner following an incident at Union Park late Sunday afternoon. A young child was bitten in the face by the animal and authorities were concerned whether the dog had a rabies vaccination. The dog owner had left the area and police were asking for the public’s assistance in locating her. Captain Matt Wallander said in an update about 10:00 last night that the case has been resolved.
