The Manitowoc Police Department is informing citizens that an individual was seen roaming the streets early this morning, attempting to enter vehicles. According to Lieutenant Robert Arps, Officers were called to the 1200 block of South 13th Street just before 1:00 this morning on a report of citizens seeing a suspicious man in their driveway as their car alarm was sounding. Officers confronted the man, who had several items that were determined to have been stolen. The 22 year old suspect was taken into custody and is facing Disorderly Conduct, four counts of Possession of a Non-Controlled Substance, Prowling, and Felony Bail Jumping for violating bail conditions on a previous incident. The MPD is asking citizens in the area between S. 10th Street and S. 14th Street and Marshall Street south to Division Street to check their vehicles and property.
