A home in Green Bay caught fire yesterday afternoon. The Green Bay Fire Department were called to a home on South Ashland Avenue at around 4:00 PM, and upon arrival found the blaze near an AC unit in a bedroom window. The sole person home at the time was able to escape safely, but all residents of the home are being assisted by the Red Cross. Crews estimate that the blaze caused around $10,000 in damage. While the blaze was located near the AC unit, it has not been definitively determined what caused the fire.
