Two people were injured and sent to an area hospital Saturday morning after a two vehicle crash in Appleton. An individual only identified as a 27 year old, was driving on I-41 South near Ballard Road in Appleton, when the vehicle hit a painting crew. One of the workers, as well as a passanger in the civilian vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-0life threatening injuries. Meanwhile the driver was taken into police custody, and charged with his second OWI offence. I-41 South was closed for a short while during the investigation, but reopened later that morning.
