All three people who were on a small plane when it crashed Sunday are expected to be okay. The National Transportation Safety Board and the F-A-A are investigating. The plane had just taken off from the Beloit airport at about 8:30 A-M when it crashed in an Illinois cornfield. A man and a juvenile passenger were treated and released at an area hospital. A woman on the plane was airlifted to a hospital and is being treated for more serious injuries. Authorities haven’t released the names of the people involved. The wreckage of the Piper Lance aircraft was found a few hundred yards south of the runway. It had taken off for a flight to the Wisconsin Dells area.
